OUR Kasheer STORY
“Kasheer” is the kashmiri name of "Kashmir", a state in the northern India.
Post our genocide in 1990, we lived in multiple places across the country in search for our true home.
“After about 25 years, this journey came to an end and we found our home in a small village in the district of Nanital in Uttarakhand.
Kasheer is a small batch family-owned estate, where we cultivate 100% natural herbs and prepare the authentic Kashmiri Vari (spice mix) and Kashmiri Khewa Premix. All raw material is either sourced from valley or locally grown, delicately handpicked and sundried at about 6000 ft. above sea level in a small Himalayan village of 50 families in the region of Uttarakhand.
This concept was created in 2014 as an effort to bring the exquisite mountain natural produce to end consumers and encourage this small village to grow
